Toast and caramel sweetness, cherry, and subtle spice from the grain is rounded out by the earthy and piney flavors picked up during the historic brewing technique of running wort through an aspen log filled with young spruce and fir tips. Thank you to Root Shoot Malting, Dustin Dyer of Kent Mountain Adventures Center for knowledge of the forest, and Nathan Weber for the aspen log.

 Le Grand Citron • Gin Barrel-aged Cocktail Beer 12oz $10 /  8oz $8 /  4oz $4.5

The base beer for this barrel-aged delicacy is Le Petit Citron, our cocktail-inspired ale fashioned after a French 75 (traditionally made with gin, champagne, and lemon). We put Le Petit Citron in a Spirit Hound gin barrel for two months resulting in a stronger, spicier version of the beer with notes of lemon peel, juniper, and vanilla. • Featured ingredients: Cashmere hops and Juniper berries • Recommended adventure: Warm day patio hangs, floating the river.
