Hike to the summit of Flattop, then cross the saddle to Hallett Peak and you will be at the top of Tyndall Glacier, one of the last remaining glaciers in Rocky Mountain National Park. There is a good chance that this glacier water is in this English Porter. As water rushes from Grand Lake to the East Portal on its way to sustain Estes and the Front Range, we draw our inspiration for this turbulent and hazy IPA. We brought back a classic: The Dihedral. This iteration of our double IPA is a throwback West Coast beer with toasted and caramel malts, a healthy dose of bitter, piney, and resinous hops, and for a new twist; Nelson Sauvin hops. Wooden Owl • Madeira & Whisky Barrel-aged Brown 8oz $10 / 4oz $6
Initially a Madeira Wine cask and then used to age Irish whiskey, this barrel made a journey across the sea to find its way to our warehouse. The complex notes between the oak barrel itself, wine, and whiskey lent itself well to aging this blend of barleywine and triple bock. The result is a strong beer that showcases a rich butterscotch and caramel candy sweetness with aromas of cherries, dates, and plums, backed by vanilla, whiskey, and wood tannins. One of the best, most unique beers we’ve created!
Passion Fruit Elixir • Fruited Pale Sour 12oz $12 / 8oz $9 / 4oz $5
A favorite from our cellar, this pale sour is a mixed culture fermentation aged in oak barrels before resting in steel on a massive dose of passion fruit. The result is dry, sour, and bursting with tropical passion fruit over notes of peach and orange zest.
